Anyone who has been fired from a job has likely had the following thought, if only fleetingly: "Was I fired for the reasons my employer stated, or was that just an excuse?" Unfortunately, too many employers are able to fire workers for illegal reasons masked as legitimate.
The subject of religious freedom in America has been hotly debated throughout our country's history, and that debate continues today. Thankfully, the United States has largely managed to uphold religious liberty in its laws, including its employment laws.
The fight for LGBT rights has been a long and difficult one, and progress has not been uniform among the four groups that fall under the LGBT banner.
